In Peru, more than 39,500 cases of school violence have been officially reported to the Ministry of Education (Minedu), Save the Children's "Unhappy Places" campaign confronts the devastating impact of bullying on children's safety and sense of belonging. The campaign, plays with the visual of a raw photodocumentary style.
This campaing approach seeks to capture the profound emotional impact of bullying in these "Unhappy Places" freezing the moment when a hurtful word or phrase destroys the happy place every child enjoys as a child: the playground, the pool, the schoolyard during recess, or even their own home.
